While the good folks at TypePad (and I can only assume every other blogging service) bans a large amount of spam before you ever see it, some spam may still manage to get through the filters.

Here is a list of common words that may show up in spam comments and banning these words in your blog's ban list might help reduce the amount of spam you see.
